Good morning, Reformers,
We have a not-so-secret weapon as we try to inform as many Minnesotans as possible about politics and policy: free republication. While 76 local Minnesota news outlets have closed just since 2018, we’re helping the survivors — and their readers and listeners — by giving them free reporting and commentary about the most pressing issues facing our state.
The weekly email I receive telling me about all the republications is always a mood lifter. After the August primary, for instance, our stories were reprinted online 94 times, from Fargo to Faribault, and republished in 13 print editions, from St. Cloud to the Quad Cities (hey, Iowa needs our help, too.) We were mentioned in another 80+ stories — because we give people lots to talk about.
In other words, when you invest in the Reformer, you’re investing in the entire journalism ecosystem here.
The best way to help us is sign up for a recurring donation so we can plan for the future.
If you can’t give today, that’s OK! Please just keep reading and sharing our work and try to think of a few family or friends who might like our daily or weekly newsletter and send them this link.
Thanks so much for your support!
